Build payments into hospitality.
Yusker Payments is the vertically-integrated payments platform behind Yusker's eat & drink network — one API for onboarding venues, accepting card and digital-wallet payments, splitting fees, and settling to a general ledger. Canadian-native, card-present and card-not-present, built for the table.
What Yusker Payments does
Most payment stacks stop at "move the money." Yusker Payments is built as a managed payment facilitator: it boards sub-merchants (venues) under a single platform, prices each one, moves funds from the diner to the venue, keeps a transparent platform fee, and posts every cent to a double-entry ledger — the same rails that power pay-at-table, online ordering, and marketplace payouts across the Yusker network.
- Onboarding — provision a venue as a merchant with KYB in a single call.
- Payments — tokenized card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Interac; QR / hosted-fields (card-not-present) and certified terminals (card-present).
- Money movement — destination charges route funds to the venue and hold back the platform fee automatically.
- Reconciliation — settlements, payouts, refunds, and disputes stream to your systems over webhooks and post to the ledger.
The resource model
Four primitives compose every flow:
- Merchants — a venue that can accept payments, created from an Identity carrying its KYB.
- Payment Instruments — a tokenized card or bank account. Raw card data never touches your servers.
- Transfers — a debit (a sale) against a merchant, carrying the platform fee.
- Events — the asynchronous truth: settlement, payout, dispute, and account updates.
Canadian-native, on a path to Tier 1
Yusker Payments settles in CAD, prices to Canadian interchange, and treats Interac as a first-class rail — not an afterthought bolted onto a US-first processor. Today Yusker operates as a managed platform on sponsored rails; the roadmap graduates Yusker to a direct, Tier 1 network integration — including direct Interac connectivity — so more of the funds-flow, settlement timing, and economics live inside Yusker. The API you build against today does not change as those rails graduate underneath it.
